Arts and Cultural Producer. Artist. Curator. Educator. Minimalist. 


Midwest born and raised, aryn studied and practiced art at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, earning a BFA in photography in 2011, following a formal education in liberal arts.  In January of 2011, she began a transition from her status as a hereditary packrat, deciding to live and carry possessions more minimally. She has been a work in progress ever since.

Since 2009, aryn has curated numerous exhibitions in Illinois, Wisconsin, and New York, working independently and collaboratively with artists of all disciplines. She has worked for the Milwaukee Art Museum, Haggerty Museum of Art, The Pitch Project Gallery & Artists Studios, Dia Art Foundation at Dia:Beacon in New York, 
the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and as adjunct faculty in New Studio Practice at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. aryn currently lives in Joshua Tree, California and is the Executive Director of High Desert Test Sites.
