.(un)conditional.

Conditional love says that I will love you as long as you fit my desires, my needs, my expectations. It says that I will love you as long as you do this and as long as you don’t do that. Unconditional love sees these flaws, or perhaps less flaws and more inconsistencies with our thoughts and expectations, and loves any way – not only despite them, but because of them. Unconditional love loves because it cannot help itself nor do otherwise. I cannot say what it is that moves me love, but only that I do love, and love you only because you are you and because I am I.
